RRB signature size (Group D): 30–49 KB resizer

Railway Recruitment Board forms for Group D capture your photo live, so the upload you prepare is the signature. Its range is unusual: 30–49 KB, much larger than the 10–20 KB most forms ask for, and a file under 30 KB is rejected.

Worked example: a signature photographed on white paper is cropped to 276 × 157 px, the 35 × 20 mm box at 200 DPI. A clean signature on white often compresses to about 20 KB even at 95% quality, so the tool pads it with blank bytes to clear 30 KB; a darker, more detailed scan may land near 39 KB on its own. Whitening is on by default to keep the background clean.
