CTET photo and signature size (3.5 × 4.5 cm)

The CTET bulletin gives sizes in centimetres rather than pixels. At the usual 200 DPI scanning resolution a 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo is 276 × 354 px and a 3.5 × 1.5 cm signature is 276 × 118 px, which is what the tool produces.

Worked example: the photo, cropped to 276 × 354 px from a phone shot, usually fits under 100 KB at a high quality. The signature has a very low floor — 3 KB — and a 30 KB ceiling, so at 276 × 118 px a clean signature usually fits at a high quality without any scaling or padding.
